This course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely enjoy intermediate surfing activities. Through structured classroom lectures (including videos) and beach laboratories the student will be introduced to: proper use of equipment, surfing history, environmental issues and the 'Goals To Success In Surfing'. Prerequisite: KINE 1134 or instructorapproved demonstration of basic surfing skills. Materials fee required.
