COOP 190: Cooperative Work Experience

Cooperative Work Experience allows students to apply classroom learning to on-the-job settings. Credit is earned for new and continued learning taking place in the work environment. Reaching set learning objectives and development of positive work habits are emphasized. Credit is available in biology, art, education, diesel technology, business, welding, civil engineering technology, nursing, radio/TV, physical education, and others as arranged by the Cooperative Education coordinator and employers. 60-360 hrs on the job per quarter. In addition, a work experience seminar is required of all Cooperative Education students. Instructor permission is required.
