This course is designed to provide in-depth training for all facets of risk analysis and collateral review pertaining to analyzing the risk and determining the credit grade of the sub-prime mortgage loan. Topics covered in-depth will include, but are not limited to, grading the credit to determine the level of credit grade, analyzing and evaluating documentation to determine credit risk and analyzing the collateral to determine risk of collateral value. This course is designed to provide an introduction to mortgage loan underwriting. This will include a review and training in all facets of risk analysis and collateral review. Topics covered in detail will be the conventional underwriting review process. Additional topics will be a basic review of the differences in FHA and VA underwriting requirements and the determination of credit risk and analysis of collateral used in the determination of risk of collateral value used in Sub Prime underwriting.
