This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: BITC 2286, BITC 2401, BITC 2431 and or approval of instructor. Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledges, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. This course will include special research studies and projects undertaken by the student in order to graduate from the curriculum. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: BITC 1311 and BITC 1302 and/or approval of instructor. A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer. (6 Ext.)

This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: BITC 1311 and or approval of instructor. Presentation of theory, applications, and operation of various analytical instruments. Practice of separation and identification techniques including electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, chromatography, and centrifugation. (2 Lec., 4 Lab.)
