Fundamentals of woody plant physiology and growth including techniques and procedures utilized in making sound tree care decisions related to growth and pest and disease control. Topics include commercial applications of irrigation including athletic fields, golf courses, and large commercial projects. This is a WECM Course Number. A study of the sexual and asexual propagation of plants used in horticulture. Topics include propagation by seeds, cuttings, grafting, budding, layering, division, separation, and tissue culture; and environmental factors of propagation. (2 Lec., 3 Lab)
