Applications demonstrated include computer-aided garment and textile design, fashion illustration, pattern-making, pattern grading, marker making, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and catalogs. This course is cross-listed as FSHD 1318. The student may register for either FSHD 1218 or FSHD 1318, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (1 Lec., 2 Lab.)

This is a WECM Course Number. A course which combines the study of fashion with travel. Exploration of fashion, art, architecture, textiles, costumer, business, and cultural activities in major art and fashion cities. Examination of the most current work in the industry from a global perspective. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. This course may be repeated for credit. (2 Lec.)
