This one-semester course in microbiology stresses the principles and applications of microbial activity, with emphasis given to the bacterial types. This course stresses the role of micro-organisms in disease, ecology, sanitation, industry, and public health as well as considering sterilization techniques, pure culture techniques, and other aspects of microbial control.
