This course is an analysis of economic aggregates: inflation, unemployment, economic growth, and the distribution of income (including current policies and problems). The course presents problems of fiscal and monetary policy and places primary emphasis on critical understanding of the economy's ability to meet the needs of its people participating as workers, consumers, and citizens.
