Advanced course on the design and application of embedded microcontroller-based systems. Architecture and capabilities of advanced microcontrollers. Frequency-response and feedback analysis of BJT and MOS analog amplifier circuits, multistage frequency-compensated amplifier design. Transient analysis of BJT and MOS digital circuit families. Physical principles of operation of the p-n junction, MOS field-effect transistor, and bipolar transistor. Fundamentals of charge transport, charge storage, and generation-recombination; application to the operation of MOSFET and BJT.
