This course is a survey of the historical, current, and emergent patterns in local, state, and federal labor organizations relating to collective bargaining. Topics include an analysis of the rights and obligations of both management and unions as influenced by legislation, administrative decisions, and court cases. Student exercises in collective bargaining negotiations, and contract agreements, nationally and globally, will be tracked and discussed.
