The remainder of the class includes material in regards to evaluation and care of general illnesses and dermatological disorders common to athletics, understanding the role of pharmaceuticals in athletics-both legal and banned substances, drug testing procedures, special issues related to women in athletics, and the athletic trainer's role in counseling athletes.
