This course will emphasize a focused approach to “application” versus the general and broad overview of the Business Finance course taken earlier in the program. Among other things, this course will emphasize the control function (controller) analyzing financial controls company wide; the treasury and banking functions from a control and process standpoint and the audit function - both internally as well as externally; asset management with an emphasis on cash, accounts receivable (credit policy, how to establish, manage, etc.) and inventory control and management.
