The development of science and technology is explored through case histories from the physical, biological, and environmental sciences. Students cannot receive credit for both History 357 and Physical Science 357. (Formerly Physical Science 338.) (4) 3 credit hours. Offered as needed.

Included is the nature of empirical research, varieties of research strategies and methods, the process of conducting research, and elementary data analysis. 4 credit hours.
