ART 210: The Photographic Vision

3 credits Introductory course in photography that approaches the medium as an art form and unique means of human communication, as well as technical skill. Student is introduced to basic mechanical principles of the camera, shown how photography has influenced human perception and communication throughout history, and provided with techniques for responding to the content and structure of photographs. Does not fulfill Photography 1 requirement, prerequisite or elective credit for the Multimedia Design and Production program. May be offered through Distance Learning.
