2-6 credits, Fall/Winter/Spring Cooperative work experience. Provides student with a learning experience related to course of study and career goal. Major emphasis will be given to on-the-job experience and training. Required: Instructor consent & a CWE seminar.

1-3 credits, Fall/Winter/Spring Training in special forms of theatrical presentation through in-class intensive preparation, study, and program development for public presentation including comedy improv, stand-up comedy, and student directed one-act plays. Required: Instructor consent and successful audition.

4 credits, Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer This course provides an overview and introduction to the safe operation of a commercial vehicle and the field of logistics. Includes the operation of basic and secondary control systems, coupling and uncoupling a tractor and trailer, cargo handling, and the proper method of conducting a pre-trip inspection. Covers applicable federal regulations including hours of service requirements and Commercial Driver's Licensing (CDL) requirements and distribution channels. Also includes methods of managing speed effectively, responding to road and weather conditions, and accident scene management. Safety is a key component.
