Students will examine the ways in which race, class, gender, sexuality, community, and society influences patterns of courtship, intimate relations, marriage, and family, and explore the various challenges facing families today. 3 credits, Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer Explores interpersonal and small group dynamics and communication skills in day-to-day formal and informal situations. Examines positive self-concept, listening skills, and clarity of expression. Designed for non-transfer students.
