4 Hours. Taxonomy, ecology, and natural history of fishes of the local regions. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132. Lecture, laboratory, and field (some overnight camping).

2 Hours. Research project design based upon the Federal Aid to the States program of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Sampling with standard inland fishery research gear and data analysis appropriate for various objectives. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132. Laboratory and field.

4 Hours. A basic conceptual program dealing with animal functions. Common functional adaptations made by various animal groups in the solution of environmental problems will be discussed. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132, Chem 1223, 1231, with a course in anatomy recommended. Lecture, Laboratory.

4 Hours. A study of the functions of major organ systems of humans. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132; CHEM 1123, 1131. Three hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.

4 Hours. Structure, interrelationships, identification, and ecology of invertebrate animals, emphasis on local forms. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132, BOT 1123, 1132. Lecture, laboratory, and field.

4 Hours. Theory, methods, and techniques for investigation of life histories of fishes illustrated by examples and data from the literature and exercises on local forms in season. Relation of life history variables to ecological factors. Life history aspects of fish culture. Habitat management as a method for manipulating ecological life histories. Prerequisite: 5 hours Zoology. Lecture, laboratory, and field.

1-6 Hours. Subject areas to be covered may range over any of the various areas of zoology. Specific content and format will be determined by the specific course offered and the needs and interests of the participants.

4 Hours. A study of the early development of vertebrate embryos. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132 and either ZOOL 2124 or 2154. Lecture and laboratory.

4 Hours. An introduction to the study of mammals. Taxonomy, ecology, behavior, hibernation and life histories of mammals of North America with emphasis on Oklahoma species. Prerequisite: ZOOL 2154. Lecture, laboratory and field (some overnight camping).

4 Hours. An introduction to the study of birds. Taxonomy, ecology, behavior, migration, and life histories of birds found in the New World north of Mexico with emphasis on Oklahoma species. Prerequisite: ZOOL 1123, 1132, and junior standing. Field trips (some overnight camping).
