The content also includes nursing care of the family experiencing the stressors accompanying the illness of one of its members. The course focuses on using the nursing process in applying knowledge from nursing and other disciplines as a basis for assisting patients so that their human needs are satisfied and wellness is promoted, restored, and maintained.
