All theatremajors are required to attend professional auditions and interviews each year; this course begins the preparation by detailing audition and interview expectations, techniques, and required materials. Students will begin a file of audition monologues and songs and prepare pieces for presentation in actual auditions, and/or begin compilation of a professional-level portfolio, and prepare materials for presentation in actual interviews.
