Prerequisite: 2030:151 or placement by adviser. Numeration systems. Analytic geometry of the straight line, linear system. Matrices and matrix methods, determinants. Sets and logic. Probability and statistics. Math of fi nance.

Review of functions; derivatives of functions; extrema and concavity; optimization; logarithmic and exponential functions; extrema for multivariate functions. Graphing calculator required. For business majors only.

Prerequisite: 3450:145, or 149 with a grade of C- or better, or placement. Functions; limits and continuity; differentiation and applications of differentiation; logarithmic and exponential functions; integration and applications of integration; partial differentiation.
