- The study of vital and personal community health issues, emotional well- being and good nutrition. Emphasis on the most commonly abused drugs, the nature of and use and abuse, and treatment methods. Prerequisite: CIS 101 and CSCI 101.

- For students in HPER. Topics will vary from semester to semester and will be designed by the Instructor.

(3 credits) - This course will have the same structure and the same basic goals as HUM 1, but will focus on a different central theme, feature works from different artists, and comprise a variety of different field experiences. Prerequisite: HUM 101.

-Introduction to content, concepts, and methods of Indian Studies courses, with emphasis on a survey of subject matter; designed to provide a foundation for further study.

-Examination of the methods, materials, and techniques of Native American visual arts, music, dance, and drama.

- Properties of real number system, factoring, linear and quadratic equations, functions, polynomial and rational expressions, inequalities, systems of equations, exponents and radicals. (A specific department may choose to not allow this course to count toward total hours required for graduation.) Prerequisite: MATH 125 or Placement Test.

- Relations and functions, equations and inequalities, complex numbers; polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions; systems of equations, matrices and determinants, sequences and summation. Prerequisite: MATH 102 or Placement Test.

- A review of whole numbers, fractions and decimal numbers in conjunction with the fundamental application of ratios, proportions, and percents in problem solving everyday situations. The application of business and consumer mathematics such as simple compound interest, purchasing and checkbook reconciliation.

- Basic concepts and properties of Algebra. For students who need the basic skills of Algebra for application in technical courses or as preparation of Intermediate Algebra. Topics include properties of real numbers, arithmetic operations on numbers and expressions, absolute value, linear equations, formula manipulations, and work problem solving. Prerequisite: MATH 120 or Placement Test.
