Prerequisite: MUS 285, 286, and consent of instructor. Choral or instrumental conducting techniques. Students work with the appropriate ensemble using selected literature, e.g. orchestral, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, choral ensemble, for the various media. (Enrollment restricted to availability of laboratory ensembles and to students of exceptional background and aptitude in the field of conducting.)
