Information regarding education course requirements in preparation for post-secondary schooling and presentations by guest speakers from a variety of health positions in the community will be featured. Topics include history of medicine, safety, universal precautions and medical ethics; beginning knowledge of communication skills; basic elements of medical terminology and medical abbreviations; procedures for vital sign assessment.
