The course encourages the student to expand his/her command of discourse in ASL on various everyday topics. Linguistic features of ASL are expanded, including inflection, spatialization, movement, redundancy, and use of facial expression and body postures. Class will be conducted in ASL - no voice conversations will be allowed in the classroom. No chewing gum or eating during class. Prerequisite: AM 147.
