It addresses the question, "What makes an otherwise ordinary person deliberately attack unarmed civilians who have personally done the perpetrator no wrong and is in no position to redress the perpetrator's grievances?" The course approaches the issue from four different academic perspectives: history, psychology, sociology, and political science. (Same as HIST 222, PSY 222, or SOC 222.)
