A course introducing vector graphics and concentrating on essential digital drawing techniques. Students will create imagery involving color, line, texture, and text using appropriate software. The course will provide a basis for expanding design, page layout, and illustration skills. Upon completion of the course, students will understand and be able to navigate the relationships between bitmap and vector programs and construct designs synthesizing various software elements.
