BODY 141: Introduction to Metal Refi nishing

They will be able to identify the types of dents and proper sequences for dent removal. They will also be able to identify three types of primer and the proper use and properties of each. By the end of the semester they will have repaired a prescribed dent in fi ve minutes and painted a body part on a vehicle, door, fender, hood, etc. They will learn proper sanding and painting using three different materials used by the industry today and the safe handling of each one.
