Licensed Practival Nurses who have been admitted to the LPN-to-RN program may receive advanced credit for NUR 100. (See "Licensed Practical Nurse" in the catalog index.) A fundamental course in nursing which introduces the student to the role of the technical nurse and to the nursing process. Emphasis is placed on the techniques and technologies that are required in meeting the basic physical and psychosocial needs of adult clients. The students are provided the opportunity for practice in the campus laboratory and the clinical setting.
