Explanations for various labor market outcomes and trends are also examined. EDU 201: Classroom Observation

Students spend time observing in classrooms at varied instructional levels and in several subject areas. The course is required for education majors and is strongly recommended for those who are considering teaching as a profession but are undecided. (F) Students who have participated in an A+ or similar program may be able to count ten hours of the required twenty hours of field experience for EDU 201 and/or EDU 211. They must: have worked with a small group (not an individual); have appropriate documentation from the participating school/teacher; complete required reflective report as per course syllabus; receive approval of the course instructor.
