Offered: Su. Ever wanted to go on a study abroad trip but didn't have the time or money? This course will try to mimic the study abroad experience as closely as possible through instruction and stories from a visiting Ukrainian professor and student(s) and a Missouri Western professor who has twice taught at a university in Ukraine. During the four-week session you will be treated to a visual tour of cityscapes and landscapes and dabble in the Ukrainian languages. You'll learn about Ukrainian history, geography, economics and politics and be exposed to their art, history, music, literature, and architecture. The course will finish up with a tour for the tastebuds, a Ukrainian feast at the home of the Missouri Western instructor.
