Included is a review of the sources of our law, the organization of the U.S. Government and structure of the Judicial System, and an explanation of the significance of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The course also stresses the legal basis for limitations of a police action, including possible federal prosecution and civil liability. Finally, the Exclusionary Rule and the rules of evidence are discussed.
