Different instructional models based on concept formation, inquiry and diversity. Theories and principles of pedagogy are discussed in general and applied specifically to the teaching of social studies in the elementary and middle school classroom. Application of classroom management theory is also examined. In addition, students are required to teach five economics lessons at a school site through Junior Achievement. Observations required.
