A survey of the empirical evidence on gender differences and issues specific to women. Gender differences are examined from biological, developmental, social, and cognitive perspectives. Topics covered include judgment, estimation, predic- tion and diagnosis, choice under certainty, heuristics and biases, risky decision making, and problem solving, as well as methods that have been developed to improve these processes.
