Brain organization and function; an emphasis on an understanding of the neural processes that underlie human and nonhuman behavior. Incorporates information from psychology, neuroscience, endocrinology, physiology, chemistry, neurology, and zoology to investigate the physiological basis of behavior. Topics include sensory processes, drugs and addiction, biological rhythms, sexual differentiation, reproduction, methods in neuroscience, neuropsychological disorders, and clinical assessment.
