Emphasis will be placed on programming, tooling requirements, machine setup, and machine operation and safety. This course will introduce the student to the maintenance and operation of advanced measurement equipment such as the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) optical comparator, and vision systems. Methods of documenting, analyzing and reporting data utilizing Microsoft Excel and MiniTab software will be practiced.
