SPAN 214: Spanish Immersion II

3 credits. 4 hours. (Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours.) Prerequisite: SPAN 212. Students will broaden their language skills while at the same time experiencing a new culture through a total immersion program in a Spanish-speaking country. Special emphasis will be placed on spoken communication while expanding listening, reading and writing skills. Students will be tested and placed into the appropriate level of instruction. All classes are conducted in Spanish by native Spanish speakers.
