The first part of the course provides a clear, concise coverage of the accounting cycle using the corporate structure to produce the general-purpose financial statements: Income Statement, Statement of Retained Earnings, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows. The remainder of the class covers financial topics that will enhance the student's understanding of the general-purpose financial statements and of corporate financing through the use of debt and equity.
