(289) Either semester. Three credits. Prerequisite: ILCS 1148 or instructor consent. Advanced language practicum and integration of studies in Italian Literature and Culture. Study Abroad in Italy. Students can participate in a variety of UConn-sponsored Study Abroad Programs and also have the option of enrolling in non-sponsored programs. In either case, students should consult with the ILCS faculty to determine which courses will receive credits. Students who enroll in study abroad programs not sponsored by UConn do not necessarily receive UConn credits for their coursework. No more than 12 credits taken in any Study Abroad Program may count toward a major in Italian at this University.
