This course is designed to allow students to earn credit for intensive work experiences in the field of biotechnology. Each internship will be different, depending upon the student and the internship site chosen. In each case, the internship must include a large component of biotechnology which will augment and integrate with the student's professional development. Internships might be associated with a variety of universities, businesses or governmental agencies. A maximum of 6 credits can be earned with a maximum of 4 credits counted towards the major requirements. Prerequisites: consent of the Biotechnology Program Director.
