This course explores definitions of Modern and Contemporary art history, while offering introductions to the major Modern and Contemporary art movements. Students will examine issues informing art from the Post-war period through the 21st Century. Individual artists and artworks are discussed within their social, religious, philosophical, and historical contexts. Prerequisite: ART 100. (Yearly)
