Topics include colloids; reaction rates and equilibrium; acids and bases and their regulation in the body; saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons; alcohol, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and esters. Second term of a three-term sequence. Prerequisite: CH 104. Corequisite: CH 105 with CH 105R.

A one-term survey course of basic general, organic and biochemistry designed to introduce students to the chemistry needed for understanding the functions of living organisms. Prerequisite: MTH070. Focuses on the basic concepts of computer hardware and software systems, the science of information representation, and the fundamental elements of program design and computer language. Includes an overview of criminology, research, data gathering, and analysis. Introduces major theoretical perspectives on the nature of crime, criminals, and victimization.
