    Description: Family therapy and theories of family development, crisis, and change over the life cycle. Paterns of family-member interaction. Emphasis is on working with families around child-parent of marital problems in order to open communication, identify problems, and resolve conflict.     Description: Initial counseling placement in a community agency to acquaint the student with on-site organization, funding, staff relations, program evaluation, working with volunteers, record keeping, and cooperations with other community services.
