Prerequisite: Prior degree and two years teaching experience This course will provide the necessary background and training for classroom teachers to become cooperating teachers for Northland College student teachers. The course will be conducted as a seminar with opportunities for distance learning and regularly scheduled meetings. Topics discussed will include introducing student teachers to the teaching process, establishing effective personal relationships, planning with student teachers, clinical supervision of student teachers, legal issues, and evaluating student teachers.
