The senior seminar gives students the opportunity to undertake a culminating project in the study and performance of music. Topics and projects vary according to the interests of the students, and include a combination of original research, musical analysis, a final paper, an oral presentation, and a musical performance. Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor. Credits: 3 cr.

A study of the major thinkers of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, and their attempts to use Greek categories in order to understand the world, themselves, and God.
