MA 490: Readings and Research in Mathematics

An opportunity for advanced students to undertake independent study or research. Topics will be chosen and study conducted in consultation with a member of the mathematics faculty. Generally, results will be submitted in written form and presented in a seminar. Prerequisites: At least junior standing or permissions of the instructor and department chair. Credits: 1-4 cr. Misc. Notes: Meetings to be arranged.
