In acccordance with this, students will explore and examine personal and professional characteristics of nurse leaders and nurse managers which will prepare them to lead through evidence-based principles. Students will also gain experience in communication and collaboration with community partners and interdisciplinary teams, which will prepare them to assist in the advancement of the profession of nursing through empowerment, change, and anticipation of nursing's future.
