A course designed to introduce the student to the lifetime leisure activity of fly fishing. The history of fly fishing will be covered, along with the methods used in fishing for trout, and other species of fish. Selection of tackle, artificial flies and fishing knots will be covered. Students will take two weekend trips in Texas and New Mexico to practice theories of fly fishing. Fee: $350.

Non-competitive Judo class for the purpose of acquiring basic understanding of the skills and terminology of Judo. These skills include: falling, throwing, mat holds, arm bars and choking techniques. This is a beginner level introduction to the art and sport of Judo. No martial arts experience is required, but flexibility and conditioning are emphasized.

A course designed as a rewarding beneficial dynamic workout-it is fun and effective cardio workout inspired by Latin American music. It combines fast and slow Latin American moves that improve cardiovascular fitness, total body toning with interval training. Fee: $35.

A course designed to introduce students to the benefits of Fitness Yoga. This class will increase strength, flexibility, reduce stress, improve focus of the mind and create an overall sense of relaxation and well-being. Students will learn yoga concepts, including postures, inversions and breath control. Fee:$35.

This course provides aerobic fitness activity in a heated swimming pool. This activity promotes cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and loss of body fat through movement activities in the water. It is a "non-impacted" form of excercise, which is excellent for those who want to cross train or for those who suffer from arthritis or other joint discomfort. Fee: $50.

Adaptive Physical Conditioning is concerned with the capacities and limitations of those with special needs, disabilities, or those who have suffered impairments. This course emphasizes the development of cardiovascular muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and control of body fat. Activities include use of aerobic machines, and stretching exercises. Appropriate individualized exercise prescriptions may help students correct physical conditions that can be improved upon through regular exercise, and assist each student to achieve the highest level of fitness within his or her capabilities. Students will learn how to develop a personal exercise program based on intensity, duration and frequency of exercise, suited to his or her abilities and interests. Fee: $35.
