This is the first of two field courses in a supervised community social service agency consisting of a minimum of 240 hours (16 hours per week for 15 weeks of the semester). A weekly seminar (SOWK 4280) accompanies this course which enables the student to integrate and apply classroom learning (theory and practice) in the field setting.
