Students will engage in supervised clinical activities with their Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) associated with didactic learning from KINE 1301 and KINE 2306. Practicum activities may take place on and off campus. Students are required to log a minimum of 20 clock hours per week, including 1 hour of lab instruction, a maximum of 16 weekday hours, and a maximum of 8 weekend hours.

Introduction to the prevention, recognition, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of common musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Laboratory experiences emphasize taping and bracing methods and techniques for preventing musculoskeletal injuries/ conditions. This course is designed to increase the student's knowledge of human anatomy and physiology through the survey of the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy and physiology of the neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. This course will also include the basic study of the digestive and endocrine systems. Specific emphasis will be placed on developing the student's understanding of those human systems that most directly affect human movement in the context of work and exercise.
