Includes the study of demand and supply, optimal consumption choice with respect to budget constraints, producer costs and output decisions, demand for labor and other inputs, and economic outcomes under product demand structures ranging from perfect competition to pure monopoly. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.

Studies the behavior of the aggregate economy; includes gross domestic product, consumption, savings, investment, unemployment, inflation, the role of the monetary system, the role of taxes, government spending and fiscal policy, the national debt, and international trade. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Business, Government, and Society 301H or Economics 304K with a grade of at least C-.

Examines the application of game theory to pricing and product strategy, capacity choices, contracting and negotiating, takeover strategy, organizational structure, trade policies, and litigation and regulation strategy.
